In 2010 the dam serving Moeckel Pond had to be drained. For more than a decade, the Friends of Moeckel Pond worked tirelessly to build the new Marston-Finn Dam. Our Village District, established in 2011, was formed for the purposes of impoundment of water, and in 2020 the dam was completed and water has returned!
In order to keep our costs down, members of the Moeckel Pond Village District have been volunteering their time and energy mowing the lawn and weeding around the grassy areas near the benches adjacent to the dam. Please consider volunteering using this sign-up sheet.
